David Sarfati was born in Tel Aviv and is a third generation Israeli. He came to America in July 1969 after serving in the Israeli army full of exploration and ambition. He traveled across the USA and spent time in Miami and would later settle in New York City where he continues to live today. He is a self taught artist and entrepreneur. He is known to carry a notebook with him everywhere he goes. He began filling sketchbook after sketchbook while he traveled around the world inspired by people and places. His surreal interpretation of the world is evident in his imaginative creations. His preferred medium is pen on paper but has expanded to working with acrylics on canvas. His artwork has been featured in private collections in Miami and New York.
